9. ISOLATED ANALOG PROGRAMMING OPTION
9.1. Introduction
Isolated Analog Programming is an internal option card for analog programming of the
Genesys
TM
power supply series. The option is factory installed and cannot be obtained with
IEMD or LAN Interfaces. Output Voltage and Current Limit can be programmed and read
back through optically isolated signals which are isolated from all other ground references in
the power supply.
There are two types of Isolated Analog programming cards:
a) 0-5V/0-10V option (PN: IS510): Using 0-5V or 0-10V signals for programming and
readback.
b) 4-20mA option (PN: IS420): Using current signals for programming and readback.
