PRESSURE
The
Pinch
Roller
pressure
should
be:

the

Holder
door
to
the
left.
Switch
the
POWER
switch
to
the
ON
position.
Place
the
deck
in
the
PLAY
mode
with
no
tape
loaded.
Attach
the
spring
scale
to
the
Pinch
Roller
shaft
as
shown
in
Fig.
14.
Gently
draw-the
scale
away
(in
the
direction
of
the
arrow)
until
the
Capstan
shaft
and
the
Pinch
Roller
are
completely
separated.
Gradually
release
the
tension
on
the
scale
until
the
Pinch
Fe
Oe
Roller
just
begins
to
rotate.
The
scale
should
then
be
reading
