VOLTAGE
PRE-CHECK
It
may
be
necessary
to
verify
correct
motor
voltage
before
measuring
reel
motor
torque.
Optimum
voltage
is
approximately
2
volts
(DC).
Procedure:
1.
With
Power
"ON",
confirm
deck
is
in
the
''STOP"'
mode.
2.
Connect
a
VOM
or
VIVM
across
the
motor
terminals
(Points
"A"
and
"B')
as
shown.
|
3.
Adjust
the
''Back
Tension''
VR's
(on
the
Reel
Drive
unit)
for
a
reading
of
approx.
2
V.
Refer
to
Adjustment
Locations
below.
