13-1. TROUBLESHOOTING
The Guide below lists specific difficulties that could occur in the A-5500,
A-5300.
Several possible causes are listed for each malfunction.
Visually
inspect the unit for any damage such as broken or burned components or
wiring, loose connections, etc.
To avoid or eliminate many possible pro-
blems, follow the procedures in the SERVICING AND MAINTENANCE section.
Do not attempt service repairs beyond your ability.
TEAC's regional Factory
Authorized Service Centers, distributors, or Factory Service may be needed
for extensive or complicated problems.
“MALFUNCTION
Pilot lamps (VU)
do not illuminate
when power is applied
a. Fuse (2A) burned out
(blown)
b. 3P red connector loose
(rear of deck)
