FREQUENCY RESPONSE
. Place Tape SPEED switch in 19 cm-7-1/2 position.
. Thread a TEAC Test Tape YIT-1003 on the unit,
. Compare the readings obtained on the Test-Set
with the Response Limits given in Fig. 11-4.
. If adjustment is required, adjust PLAY EQ VR-203/204
(HIGH) for 19 cm-7-1/2 speed (FWD and REV directions).
Change
Tape
SPEED
switch
to
9.5
cm+3-3/4
position.
. Thread a TEAC Test Tape YIT-1002 on the unit.

Repeat
Step
3.
Check
for
best
frequency
response.

If
fine
adjustment
is
required,
adjust
PLAY
EQ
VR-201/202
(LOW) for 9.5 cm-3-3/4 speed. (FWD and REV direction).
NOTE
If
the
frequency
response
does
not
meet
specified
response
limits
specially
in
high-end
of
the
spectrum,
head
should
be
checked
for
accumulated
dirt
or
oxides.
If
clean,
head
azimuth
must
be
re-
adjusted.
