Each time you press TUNING/TIMER

If you press TUNING/TIMER v, the
reverse operation will take place.
@ Press SET.
The display will show the day, ON time,
OFF time, the broadcast station you se-
lect alternately, and then resumes the
previous display.
6 Prepare for recording.
1. Insert a tape into deck 2.
2. Select the Dolby NR mode.
3. Select the reverse mode.
4. Select the tape travel direction.
Press POWER to switch the
power to standby mode.
"REC"
Please confirm “(J REC”.
The tuner recording will start 30 seconds
before the setting time.
The sound will be automatically muted
during timer recording.
To cancel the timer:
Press [] REC to go out “(J REC”.
If you make an error:
Press TIMER/CLOCK to return to the first step.
About the variation of the day setting:
One day from
Sunday to Saturday: SUN...SAT
Everyday from
Sunday to Saturday: SUN TO SAT
To confirm the record timer:
Press TIMER/CLOCK to show “[{] REC’.
The
display
will
show
the
day,
ON
time,
OFF
time,
the
broadcast
station
you
select
alternately.
To change the record timer setting:
Follow the procedure from the first step.
Using the timer at the same time setting continu-
ously:
You can accomplish this even if the system is in the standby mode.
The record timer setting will stay in the memory.
1. Press [J REC to show “(9 REC”.
2. Press POWER to switch the power to standby mode.
To enjoy the desired source after the timer setting
is completed:
1. Start playing the desired source.
When listening to a cassette tape, use the deck 1.
Even if you change the music source, the timer recording will start
with the preset condition.
2. Press POWER to standby mode after enjoy the play.
ef the power is on, the timer will not function.
®This system retains the ON/OFF time settings until you make a new
setting. If you make a new ON time setting, the previous OFF time
setting will change to the same setting.
You cannot make the ON time and OFF time same setting.
Once the record timer operation finishes, it clears the record timer
mode (except for everyday mode “SUN TO SAT”). When the
display shows “(] REC”, the record timer will be activated,
elf you switch the power to standby mode while record timer is
functioning, the OFF time setting will not be activated.
For your reference:
When you want to record a same program over several weeks
(except when you select everyday mode “SUN TO SAT’), press
REC to show “[] REC” after the timer recording has finished.
