1 Safety note
Use for intended purpose 1.1
The tension links in model series F7301/F73C1/F73S1 are intended
for the measurement of static and dynamic tension force.
List of series:
F7301: Standard version
F73C1: option 1: ATEX version acc. EN 60079-0:2012 and
EN 60079-11:2012 (Ex ib).
IECEx version acc. IEC 60079-0:2011 (Ed. 6) and
IEC 60079-11:2011 (Ed. 6) (Ex ib).
The content of the ATEX/IECEx-operating instruc-
tion BD914_d is completely included in this operat-
ing instruction.
option 2: SIL version acc. to EN 62061:2005
option 3: UL version acc. to UL 61010-1 and CSA C22.2
NO. 61010-1.
F73S1: version acc. the requirements for functional safety acc.
Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG, applies only in combination with a
safe control, for example ELMS1 overload protection.
These devices have been constructed and tested in accordance to the
safety regulations for electronic measuring equipment. Any other us-
age is deemed to be incorrect. The tension links can only be guaran-
teed to operate correctly and safely if the information in the operating
instructions is complied with. The legal and safety regulations that ap-
ply to the respective application must also be observed during use
(e.g. VDE 0100). This also applies to the use of accessories. The ten-
sion link is not intended to be used a as safety element. The correct
and safe operation of this tension link depends on correct transporta-
tion and proper storage, installation and assembly and careful opera-
tion and maintenance.
