General installation guidelines 6.2
Torsional and bending moments are to be avoided.
Torsional moments, for example, due to the rope constructions, bending
moments and lateral forces cause measurement errors and can damage
the tension link permanently.
It is important to ensure that the force is introduced exclusively through
the bolts and never through the fork.
Bolt diameter should always be chosen to match the bore diameter of
the tension link. Too little bolt diameter may cause measurement errors
or damage to the inner bore surface.
Force shunts any kind, for example by spacer rings, should be avoided.
This can also lead to measurement errors.
