Performance tests
Performance t
ests
This section
contains performance verification procedures for the specifications
listed b elow.
10 MHz reference frequency accuracy
Analog amplitude accuracy
Marker high and low level accuracy
Prerequisites
The tests in this section comprise an extensive, valid confirmation of performance
and functionality when the following requirements are met:
The cabinet must be installed on the instrument.
You must have performed and p assed the procedure Diagnostics and
Calibration, and the procedure Functional Tests.
The instrument must have been last adjusted at an a mbient temperature
between +20 °C and +30 °C, must have been operating for a warm-up period
of at least 20 minutes, and must be operating at an ambient temperatures
between +10 °C and + 40 °C.
Required equipment
The following table lists the test equipment required to perform the performance
verification procedures. The table identifies examples of recommended equipment
and lists the required precision where applicable. If you substitute other test
equipment for the listed examples, the equipment must meet or exceed the listed
tolerances.
