In any of these c
ases, make sure you have a stable, valid clock connected, and
then use the PHAseref:CHAR command to run characterization.
Characteriza
tion passed. This status indicates that the clock that you've input
has been successfully characterized and has since been stable.
Characteri
zation failed. This status indicates that characterization failed.
Make sure of your clock and rerun characterization. If Fail status still results,
you may be providing a faulty clock or one that mismatches the clock
frequency that you set with the PHAseref:CH<x>:FREQuency command.
Here are some possible status messages that return with the "Characterization
failed" string:
Acq System Error.
Entered Frequency Incorrect.
Frequency too Low.
No Phase Ref Clock.
No Trig
gers.
Phase Ref Clock Amplitude Low.
Phase Ref Clock Amplitude High.
Reference Clock Shape Problem.
Signal to Noise Ratio Low.

Examples
PHASEREF:CH1:STATUS? might return CHARACTE RIZATION REQUIRED,
indicating that you need to characterize the clock connected to the currently
selected and enabled Phase reference module.
PHAseref:MODe
Sets or queries the phase correction mode, Off, Freerun, Triggered, or SSC
Triggered for the currently selected Phase Reference Module (if any).
