Measurement Description
Negative Duty
Cycle
The ratio of the negative pulse width to the signal period expressed as a percentage. The
duty cycle is measured on the fi rst cycle in the waveform or gated region.
Positive Pulse
Width
The distance (time) be twe en the mid reference (default 50%) amplitude points of a positive
pulse. The measure m ent is made o n the first pulse in the w avef orm or gated region.
Negative Pulse
Width
The distance (time) between the mid reference (default 50%) amplitude po ints of a negative
pulse. The measure m ent is made o n the first pulse in the w avef orm or gated region.
Burst Width
The duration o f a burst (a series of transient events) and is measu red over the entire
waveform or gate d region .
Phase
The amount of time that one waveform leads or lags another wavef orm, expressed in degrees
where 360° makes up one wave form cycle. See also Delay.
