Video Triggering (TDS 400A)
If you have a TDS 510A with Option 05, refer to the TDS Family Option 05
Video Trigger Interface Instruction manual for video trigger operating informa-
tion. The optional Video Trigger menu lets you select the source, polarity, class,
mode, and holdoff. It also gives you the option to delay by lines or time and lets
you trigger on the first field, second field, or both.
A video trigger event occurs when a video signal generates a horizontal or
vertical sync pulse.
To Select Video Triggering
To bring up the Video Trigger menu:
Press the TRIGGER MENU
➞ Type (main) ➞ Video (side) (see Figure 3–68).

To select predefined setups (NTSC, PAL, or SECAM) or customize the setup:
