NTSC has a line rate of 525 lines per frame and a field rate of 60 Hz.
PA L has a line rate of 625 lines per frame and a field rate of 50 Hz.
SECAM has a line rate of 625 lines per frame and a field rate of 50 Hz.
Custom lets you specify the frequency range of the video signal. The different
ranges are listed in the Scan Parameter side menu (discussed later in this
section).

To select which source you want the trigger to come from:
Press TRIGGER MENU
➞ Source (main) ➞ Ch1, Ch2, Ch3, or Ch4 (side).
Negative polarity is the standard for horizontal and vertical synch pulses. To set
the sync polarity:
Press the TRIGGER MENU
➞ Sync Polarity (main) ➞ Neg Sync or Pos Sync
(side).
To specify the TV Delay Mode (see Figure 3–70):
Press the TRIGGER MENU
➞ TV Delay Mode (main) ➞ Delay by Lines or
Delay by Time
(side). Use the general purpose knob to enter the value.
