6. Add the results of both readings. If a signal greater than 1400 V
pk-pk
is
present, the backlight is probably defective. Replace the display.
If the signal is not present, proceed with step 7.
7. If the signal is missing, detach the display using the procedure on page 6--24
and probe the backlight connector leads again.
8. Add the results of both readings. If a signal greater than 1400 V
pk-pk
is
present, the display is probably defective. Replace it.
If the signal is not present, the power supply module is probably defective.
Replace it.
