Telephone base backup battery installation
Install the three AAA non-rechargeable batteries so that your telephone can still
operate in the event of a mains power failure.
Press the large tab on the backup battery compartment cover. Then pull to open.
Place three AAA batteries into the compartment, matching the polarity
engravings.
Replace the backup battery compartment cover. Push the large tab until it locks
securely.

Note: Under normal usage conditions, the three AAA non-rechargeable batteries
should last approximately 6 months. The battery life depends on the frequency
and the duration of mains power failure.
WARNING: Disconnect the telephone line cord from the base when replacing back-
up batteries.
