To record a memo with the telephone base:
Press
when idle, then press SELECT to select Answering system.
Scroll to Record memo, then press SELECT.
The system announces, “Record after the tone. Press SAVE when you are
done.” After the tone, speak towards the microphone.
Press SAVE when done.
REMOTE ACCESS
A two-digit security code is required to access the answering machine remotely
from any touch-tone telephone. The preset code is 00.
Dial your telephone number from any touch-tone telephone.
Enter the two-digit security code after the announcement and the
long beep.
The system announces, “Press star for reminder or press pound to listen to
messages.” Press

After pressing
, you can enter one of the following remote commands:
Command Function
1 Review reminders.
2 Set reminders.
3 End the call.
4 Turn reminder off.

, you can enter one of the following remote commands.
Command Function
1 Play all messages.
2 Play new messages.
3 Delete the current message (during playback).
33 Delete all old messages.
4 Repeat the current message (during playback).
5 Stop.
*5 Hear a list of remote commands.
6 Skip to the next message (during playback).
*7 Record a new announcement.
8 End the call.
0 Turn the answering system on or off.
