To set number of rings with the telephone base:

REMOTE ACCESS CODE
A two-digit security code is required to access the answering machine remotely
from any touch-tone telephone. The preset code is 00. You can set the code from
00 to 99.
To set remote access code with a cordless handset:

or to scroll to Ans sys setup, then press .
Press
or to scroll to Remote code, then press .
Enter a two-digit number, then press

To set remote access code with the telephone base:

MESSAGE ALERT TONE
When the message alert tone is set to On, and there is at least one new message,
the telephone base beeps every 10 seconds.
The message alert tone is preset to
Off. There is no audible alert at the handset.
To set message alert tone with a cordless handset:
