USE CALLING NUMBER DISPLAY TO AUTOMATICALLY SET DATE
AND TIME
If you subscribe to a Calling Number Display service, the date and time are set
automatically with each incoming call. Follow the steps below to turn the CID time
sync feature on or off. The default setting is On.
Press MENU when idle.
Scroll to Settings, then press on the cordless handset or SELECT on the
telephone base.
Scroll to CID time sync, then press
on the cordless handset or SELECT on
the telephone base.
Scroll to On or Off, then press
on the cordless handset or SELECT on the
telephone base.
QUIET MODE
You can turn on the quiet mode for a period of time (1-12 hours). During this period,
all tones (except paging tone) and call screening are muted.
When you turn on the quiet mode, the answering machine turns on automatically.
When the quiet mode duration expires, the answering machine remains on.
To set and turn the quiet mode on:
Press and hold
on the cordless handset or on the telephone base when
idle. The screen shows Quiet: _ _ hours (1-12 hours).
Enter the desired duration (1-12), then press on the cordless handset or
SELECT on the telephone base.
To turn the quiet mode off:
While the quiet mode is on, press and hold
on the cordless handset or on
the telephone base.
HAPPY MESSAGE (ONLY FOR MODEL WITH PENDANT)
Happy messages are pendant greeting messages. The default setting is On.
Press MENU when idle.
Scroll to Pendant, then press
on the cordless handset or SELECT on the
telephone base.
Scroll to Happy message, then press
on the cordless handset or SELECT
on the telephone base.
Scroll to On or Off, then press
on the cordless handset or SAVE on the
telephone base.
