Description
DHCP
Specifies whether to enable the function of the NVR automatically obtain an IP
address from an upstream device.
After the DHCP is enabled, the NVR can automatically obtain its IP address, subnet
mask, default gateway and DNS server from the DHCP server in the network.
If the DHCP is disabled, you need to manually configure an IP address, subnet mask,
default gateway and DNS server for NVR.
IP Address
Specifies the IP address of the NVR.
To connect the NVR to the internet, the IP address of the NVR must be set in the
same network segment of the LAN IP address of the router with internet
connectivity.
Subnet Mask
Specifies the subnet mask of the NVR.
Default Gateway
Specifies the default gateway of the NVR.
To connect the NVR to the internet, the IP address of the NVR must be set in the
default gateway of the LAN IP address of the router with internet connectivity.
Auto Obtain DNS
Specifies whether to enable the function of the NVR automatically obtaining DNS
from an upstream device.
After the Auto Obtain DNS function is enabled, the NVR can automatically obtain its
DNS from the DHCP server in the network.
If the Auto Obtain DNS is disabled, you need to manually configure primary DNS
and secondary DNS for NVR.
Primary DNS
Specify the primary or secondary DNS server address of the NVR.
If the router with internet connectivity has a DNS proxy function, the primary DNS
address can be set to the IP address of the LAN port of the router with internet
connectivity.
Secondary DNS
MTU
Specifies the largest data packet transmitted by the NVR, that is, the maximum
transmission unit.
MAC Address
Specifies the LAN MAC address of the NVR.
