CLEANING THE PREFILTER
During normal use of the ltration system, dirt will
collect in the prelter of the lter pump.
Shut off the lter pump by setting the switch on the
control panel to the “STOP” position.
Close the valve on the inlet side of the lter pump
(installed by the contractor).
Unscrew the clamp knobs of the prelter basket
cover; remove the basket and clean out debris.
      

Having secured the transparent cover, reopen the
pump inlet valve.
Start the lter pump by setting the switch to “MAN”,
bleed the sand lter (see step 10 of STARTING
FIRST TIME), then return the switch to the “auto”
position.
