Detach the tting by which the top of the lter is
connected to the heater pipeline (1).
Remove the cap by pressing down the release catch
(2) immediately below the collar and unscrewing
the collar (3), turning anticlockwise.
The two actions must be performed simultaneously
whenever the catch mechanism re-engages.
Remove the lter element (4) and clean or replace.
Check that the rubber O-ring under the cap is not
cut, broken, out of shape and/or showing signs of
wear.
Check that the release catch mechanism has
not suffered any damage during the operation of
removing the cap.
Having washed and repositioned the element, or
tted a replacement, close the drain plug (5) and
repeat the above sequence of steps in reverse
order.
Thereafter:
Start the lter pump by positioning the switch on the
control panel to “MAN”.
Bleed the lter by opening the valve and waiting
until water emerges without air.
Return the switch to the “auto” position.
