CLEANING THE CARTRIDGE FILTER
The cartridge lter utilizes a polyester element able to ensure optimum water ltration capacity. The total
area of the ltration surface amounts to 7 square metres. The lter element can be washed periodically
to restore its normal efciency.
When a new system is rst started up, make a note
of the reading given by the pressure gauge on top
of the lter.
The lter element must be cleaned/replaced:
• when the pressure indicated by the gauge
exceeds the value rst recorded (newly installed
system) by 0.7 bar
• whenever pressure reaches 2.0 bar, in any
circumstances.
Close the valve on the inlet side of the lter pump
(installed by the contractor).
Vent any excess pressure by opening the bleed
valve on the lter.
Remove the drain plug (5) at the bottom of the lter
housing and allow the water to run off.
