Chapter 1 | G3Pro overview
• Optional Universal Power Suppy (UPS)—A backup power unit
(APC Smart UPS). It supplies power for a given amount of time
(approximately 20 minutes) in the event of power failure which could
be catastrophic during a process event.
• HMI/Monitor—Supplies power for the computer monitor.
• Vessel Adapter Box—This connector provides control for large
S.U.B. electric heaters. Used in conjunction with the Vessel Heater
In connector when operating without a TCU.
• Vent Filter Heaters—These connectors provide a paired
connection for each of the two (2) vent filter heaters. Power is
supplied through the receptacles. Note: Because the voltage used
for the unit is carried through to the vent filter heater receptacles,
you must ensure that the vent filter heaters are rated for the
appropriate voltage.
• Main Power Switch (On)—Turns main power on and o.
• Ground Stud–Used to connect a permanent true earth bonding
conductor (see section 2.4.2).
• Power-indicator/Status light—Illuminates green when power is
on.
