  If your Thinkware Dash Camera doesn't recognize the memory card, ensure it's inserted correctly with the metal contacts facing the lens. If that doesn't work, power off the device, remove the card, and check for any damage to the contacts in the card slot. Finally, make sure you are using an authentic THINKWARE memory card, as the device's compatibility and normal operation with third-party cards are not guaranteed.

  If your Thinkware Dash Camera isn't receiving a GPS signal even with the external receiver installed, ensure the receiver is properly connected. GPS signal reception may not be available during storms or heavy rain, and it may take up to 5 minutes until GPS reception is established. Also, GPS signal may not be received in out-of-service areas, or if the product is located between tall buildings. Try again on a clear day at a location known to have good GPS reception.
