  If your THOMSON Receiver shows no picture or sound, ensure the Audio/Video output is correctly connected to your TV. Also, check the settings in the menu under Installation System Settings. Press the MUTE button on your TV or receiver to unmute the audio. If the resolution is wrong, press the resolution button on your receiver's RCU. Finally, make sure your TV is powered on.

  If your THOMSON Receiver isn't displaying a picture, first check the antenna cable. Ensure it's properly connected to the receiver, and consider replacing it if necessary. Also, verify that the transponder parameters are correctly set in the menu under Installation --> Antenna Setup/Channel Search. If the issue persists, use a spectrum analyzer to check the signal and correctly adjust your antenna's direction.

  If your THOMSON Receiver isn't granting access to scrambled services, your subscription might be expired, your smart card might need reauthorization, or the selected channel might not be included in your subscription. Check your subscription status under Conditional Access --> Irdeto Status --> Product List Status. If the receiver was off or disconnected, allow 1-2 hours for card reactivation. Try switching to another channel.
