Also, check if the audio is muted on either the TV or the receiver by pressing the MUTE button. A wrong resolution could also be the issue, so try pressing the resolution button on your receiver's remote control unit (RCU). Finally, confirm that your TV is powered on.

  If you cannot access scrambled services on your THOMSON Receiver, it might be due to an expired subscription, a smart card awaiting new authorization, or no subscription for the selected channel. Check your subscription status in Conditional Access – Irdeto Status – Product List Status. Note that if the receiver was powered off or disconnected from the signal for a long time, it can take about 1-2 hours for a valid card to be activated again. Try switching to another channel in the meantime.
