Inspection and Maintenance
SEAT REMOVAL
Remove the seat by pulling the seat lock lever upward and pull up the seat
at the rear. Insert the projection on the front of the seat into the holder and
push down on the seat at rear to install the seat.
Always make sure the seat is securely fitted.
AIR CLEANER
If the air cleaner element is clogged with dust, there will be greater intake
resistance, resulting in decreased power output and increased fuel con-
sumption.
1. Do not operate the engine without the air cleaner element in place or
severe damage may result.
2. If you usually nde in dusty areas or regularly operate the vehicle wet,
muddy conditions, you must lnspect the air cleaner element more
frequently than shown in the periodic maintenance chart.If at any time, the
air cleaner element is submerged in water, immediately clean the element
and the inside of the air cleaner case.
