TUBELESS TIRE REPAIR
Should a leak or flat tire occur due to a puncture, the tire may be repaired
using a “Plug” type patch. If the damage is from a cut, or if the puncture
cannot be repaired using a plug, the tire should be replaced. When oper-
ating your ATV in areas where transporttion or service facilities are not
readily available, it is strongly recommended that you bring a plug type
repair kit and a tire pump with you.
DRIVE CHAIN
e condition and adjustment of the drive chain should be checked once a
month. Always follow the guidelines below for inspection and servicing the
chain.
You should periodically inspect the drive chain for the following:

Dry or rusted links
Kinked or binding links

If you find anything wrong with the drive chain condition or adjustment,
there is a strong
possibility that the sprockets will have damage to them also. Inspect the
sprockets for the
following:
Excessively worn teeth
Broken or damaged teeth
Loose sprocket mounting nutis)
NOTE:
e two sprockets should be inspected for wear when a new chain is in-
stalled and replaced if necessary.
