measurement for pace, refer to section 8.4.2). Measuring is not yet enabled however, and exercise data will not be saved in the
exercise log. If one is moving with the product when in standby mode, the pace when the first lap was started will be shown on
display.
4.2.2 Starting and ending in track exercise mode
Press the START/STOP button in the track exercise standby mode to start the exercise. The point where one is stood at the time
of pressing the START/STOP button is the start of the track exercise. The width of the track is 30m from the leftmost to the
rightmost of the marked start point. Every time the start point is passed, the product will automatically display the lap data (time,
distance, average and maximum pace) for four (4) seconds. Press the UP button to show either lap time, average pace or overall
time on the top part of the display. Press the DOWN to toggle between the distance or average pace on the bottom part of the
display. Press the START/STOP button to stop the track exercise. 'Exercise saved' text will appear and the product automatically
proceeds to the exercise summary data.
4.2.3 Summary of track exercise
On the first track exercise summary screen, the summary data of the whole track exercise is shown. Pressing the UP and DOWN
buttons will check each individual lap data. Press the INT/BACK button to return to the track exercise standby mode.
4.3 Competition function
Select competition exercise from the main menu and press START/STOP to begin. Then the countdown optimum time will need
to be set along with the minute alarm time. The product will then begin searching for a satellite connection, and once the
connection has been established competition exercise standby mode will begin.
