4.5.1 Standby mode of race exercise
In the standby mode the time and pace information is shown on display (to set the unit of measurement for pace, see section
8.4.2). Measuring is not active yet and the exercise data will not be saved in the exercise log.
4.5.2 Starting and ending race exercise
Press the START/STOP button in the race exercise standby mode to start the exercise. Use the DOWN button during the
exercise to change between the distance and average pace information, shown at the bottom of the display. Use the UP button
during the race exercise to change the field on the top of the display to show either overall time, time or average pace. When the
whole distance of the race exercise has elapsed the exercise will stop automatically. Time, distance, average and max pace
information from the last 500m will appear on the display. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to check the exercise summary of the
whole race exercise. Press the START/STOP button during the race exercise to manually stop the race exercise before the
selected distance is completed. The average pace information of each completed interval will show on the display.
