If you don’t pull the trigger for 1 second or longer, you must restart the trigger pull sequence (2
pulls, then 3 shot burst on the third). The LED ashes two times to indicate Triple Firing mode.
Press and release the power button to choose the next ring mode
FULL-AUTO NORMAL (once started, ring rate is 12 paintballs per second (bps)) To re in
Full-Auto Normal mode, you must pull the trigger 2 single pulls within 1 second and hold the
3rd trigger pull to re at 12 bps until you release the trigger. Subsequent trigger pulls within 1
second continues to re in Full-Auto Normal mode.

to indicate Full-Auto Normal mode.

Fast mode, you must pull the trigger 2 single pulls within 1 second and hold the 3rd trigger
pull to re at 15 bps until you release the trigger. Subsequent trigger pulls within 1 second
continues to re in Full-Auto Fast mode.
If you don’t pull the trigger for 1 second or longer, you must restart the trigger pull sequence (2
pulls, then Full-Auto Fast on the (held back) third trigger pull). The LED ashes four times to
indicate Full-Auto Fast mode.
Press and release the power button to choose the next ring mode (cycles back to the rst
one).
SEMI-AUTO (Default ring mode - see the beginning of this topic).
For rst time Alpha Black Elite use, you are now ready to go back to the Getting Started
section steps 3 through 6 (starting on page 9).
NOTE: If the marker does not re, see the E-Trigger Troubleshooting section below.
Tournament Lock
Because the E-Trigger electronics require a tool to turn it on and off and to change the ring
mode, no tournament lock is necessary for competition paintball.
NOTE: Modications to the E-Trigger electronics in order to achieve rates of re higher than
15 bps are not recommended, and may void the warranty.
5. E-Trigger Troubleshooting
PROBLEM: The LED light does not light when you push the power button.
Make sure you are pressing the Power Button, not the LED (see Figure 7 on page 11).
Battery may be disconnected. Check battery clip connection.
Battery may be bad. Check the battery, replace if bad.
An internal wire may be disconnected. Do NOT disassemble a marker while it is
pressurized with air. Inspect wire connections inside the receiver. Follow disassembly/
wire inspection and assembly instructions on page 19, then continue on page 11 with
step 3, Operation.
PROBLEM: You have successfully installed the battery, turned on the E-Trigger, installed the
air supply and loaded the paintballs and the marker will not re.
Check to be sure the trigger safety is in the FIRE position and make sure sufcient air
supply is available to the marker.
Make sure the marker is cocked.
