Shackle user manual:
Shackle is U- shaped metal part, which is secured with a
pin or bolt. It is used to connect the rope with the chain,
belt or other rope.
Remember! When you use the shackle do not tug the
rope. Specification of the shackle is only for constant
pull. Always check the condition of the clevis pin. Remember the clevis pin can’t
be damaged.
Before using shackle please check:
4. If the shackle is not damaged, it may cause slipping the rope and affect in
device damages or serious personal injuries.
5. Check the rope and belt condition, if the rope is without any damages or
cracks ( it may cause rope fracture and affect device damages or serious
personal injuries, even death).
6. What time has passed from the purchase data, if it is longer than 6 month
please change the shackle for new one.
Extra tips:
Avoid continuous pulls from extreme angles as this will cause the wire rope to pile up
on one end of the drum.
WARNING! Shackles are not to be used to lift or hold the load. Any such use
may cause damages or serious injuries for people who work with the winch.
