Maximum towing capacity is for ideal conditions; capacity varies with rope layer.
Mount and operate according to manual. Improper use causes damage or injury.

Rated pull is for perfect conditions; pull differs on every rope layer.
Winch is for horizontal vehicle pulling only; not for person transport or lowering loads.
Dress properly, wear gloves, use non-skid footwear. Protect long hair.
Maintain safe distance from rope/load. Never stand close to or cross the rope path.
Do not use winch while drunk.
Stand clear of broken rope path. Leave 8 rolls on the drum. Use rope damper.
Do not overwork winch. Stop if motor overheats. Do not exceed maximum rated line pull.
Disengage clutch when not in use. Check parts for damage before use. Use correct repair parts.
Wind rope evenly from the bottom of the drum. Do not gather on one side.
