7. Avoid unintentional start.
-Winch clutch should be disengaged when not in use and the winch should be turned
off. When winch is in use should be fully engaged. On the winch must be mounted the
master switch and the safety switch between the battery and the winch.
8. Check if there are any damaged parts.
- Before use you should check your winch carefully. Every damaged part should be
replaced or repaired immediately. The repair can be made only by qualified person.
- Before you use the winch, check the hook, if it is complete and if the mounting bolt
is ended with the pin. Never use the hook without the pin!
9. Winch repair
-Remember! In repairing use only the same parts for replacement or it may cause
considerable danger to use.
10. Rope winding
Always wind the rope in correct direction- should be
pulled from the bottom of the drum. Rope should be
pulled evenly, every layer beside the other. Do not
gather the rope on the one side of the drum, it may
cause in overload and winch damages.
After you end your work please pull the rope without any load. Winding should be
made in the safe distance from the working winch- at least 1,5 meter from winch.
Remember,
always wear leather
gloves!
