Corneal aligning window The position of the patient’s cornea is seen through this window.
Forehead rest knob Adjusts the forehead in the back-and-forth direction.
Leveling knob Levels the instrument.
Near-point rod holder The near-point rod is inserted and attached here.
Near-point rod clamp screw Fixes the near-point rod.
Forehead rest The patient’s forehead rests here.
Cornea alignment scale Measures the cornea vertex position.
Power connection cord This cord connects the instrument to the power supply.
Level Indicates the standard position for the level adjustment.
Cornea illumination Brightens the anterior eye segment to check the PD easily even during
optometry in a dark room.
Chart illumination LED Illuminates the near-point chart.
Tilt fixing lever for near point Adjust the tilt for near-point test.
