y A minimum distance of 30 cm should be kept between cellphones and the
unit.
y It is possible to avoid EMC interference by keeping a minimum distance
away from the transmitting device, depending on the intensity of its signal.
y The unit is designed to operate in an electromagnetic environment, provid-
ed interferences are kept under control.
y Any of the described situations that does not meet the precautions men-
tionedmighthaveanegativeaectontheusefullifeoftheproduct.
y Direct simultaneous contact between the user, the patient, and non-EM
equipment is not foreseen.

environment. Therefore, it must not be located in operating theatres, in the
