3. DESCRIPTION OF THE UNIT
The unit is designed to facilitate support and positioning of ophthalmic
instruments used during examination and diagnosis of patients. To do this, it has
electronically regulated power contacts and patient seating using an electric
lifting group.
The Figure 3-1 shows the components of the unit.
