The factory settings are always pre-configured at the factory and set the main parameters of the controller.
Left Section:
Automatic Controller – Non-Automatic Controller: An automatic controller will respond to automatic start requests,
like a pressure drop announced by a pressure transducer or a pressure switch, a deluge valve signal or a remote
automatic start trigger. A non-automatic controller will only start the engine on manual requests.
Pressure Actuated – Non-Pressure Actuated: A pressure actuated controller has at least one pressure transducer
installed and will monitor the system pressure at all time. In an automatic controller, the pressure drop will trigger a
starting sequence of the engine automatically. A non-pressure actuated controller may be equipped with a pressure
transducer or pressure switch. In this last case the controller does not take into account the system pressure to
trigger a starting sequence.
Battery 1-2 Overvoltage value: This field allows the set point of the Overvoltage alarm to be configured. Usually, this
value is set to about 4 Volts above the nominal value of the batteries.
“Reset to Factory Settings”: This button redirects to the “Reset to Factory Settings” page. This is a major operation
that must be used with care and only if the factory was contacted first. See the “Reset to Factory Settings” help for
more details.
Right Section:
The first two settings set the nominal AC and DC voltage for the controller.
The following section enables the “Engine RPM” counter. The engine’s magnetic pickup has to be connected to the
"U" terminal on the Diesel - IO board. If this signal is enabled, the “Teeth” parameter must be set according to the
exact number of “teeth” on the magnetic pickup gear. This parameter will allow the ViZiTouch to calculate precisely
the engine actual RPM with a fast refresh rate. The value will be shown in the upper-right corner of the homepage,
over the symbolic “RPM” image. This is the only setting available to a “Level 1” user on the “Factory Settings” page.
