TomaintainsomewhatconstantengineRPM,depress
thetractionpedalslowly.Thisallowstheenginetokeep
upwiththegroundspeedofthevehicle.Bycontrast,
pushingdownquicklyonthetractionpedalwillreduce
engineRPMand,asaresult,therewillnotbeenough
torque-powertomovethevehicle.Therefore,to
transfermaximumpowertotherearwheels,move
thethrottletoFastandslightlydepressthetraction
pedal.Bycomparison,maximumgroundspeedwithno
loadresultswhenthethrottleisintheFastposition
andthetractionpedalisslowlybutfullydepressed.In
summary,alwayskeeptheengineRPMhighenoughto
delivermaximumtorque-powertotherearwheels.
