1.Starttheengineandletitrunathalfthrottlefor
approximatelyveminutestowarmup.
2.MovethethrottlecontroltotheSlowsetting.Adjust
theidlestopscrewcounterclockwiseuntilitno
longercontactsthethrottlelever.
3.Bendthegovernedidlespringanchortang
(
Figure28)toattainanidlespeedof1750±50RPM.
Checkthespeedwithatachometer.

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandturnthe
engineoff.
2.Pivottheseatupward.
3.Disconnectthetubefromthebottomttingofthe
reservoirandlettheoilowintoadrainpan.Install
andtightenthetubewhentheoilstopsdraining.
4.Cleantheareaaroundthehydraulicoillter
(Figure29).Removethelterfromthebottomof
thelterhousingandallowtheoiltoowintoa
drainpan.Useabottom-typelterwrench.Dispose
oftheoillterproperly
