1.Installtherearpivot,thrustwasher,andpiniongearontotheLHtransmission
axleshaft.RepeatontheRHsideoftheunit.
2.InstallthesnapringontotheLHtransmissionaxleshaft.RepeatontheRH
sideoftheunit.
3.InstallthegearcoverandwheeltotheLHpivotarm,securewiththe(3/8–16
inch)wheelbolt.Torquetheboltto35±1.69N•m(315±15in-lb).Repeat
ontheRHsideoftheunit.

partstostop.
2.Modelsequippedwiththe60vpowerhead,removetheharnessfrom
powerhead.
3.Modelsequippedwithelectricstartonly,removethe2(M4.2x2.0)
screwssecuringthebatterycover.Removethebatterycoverandfoampad.
Disconnectthebatterybyremovingthenegativecablerst,thenthepositive
cablefromthebattery.
4.Removethegrassbaggerassemblyifattached.
5.Removethetractioncable.RWDTractionCableRemoval(page5–8)
