padandbatterycover.Securethebatterycoverwith2(M4.2x2.0)screws.
Torquethescrewsto2.26±0.34N•m(20±3in-lbs).

powerhead.

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,stoptheengineandwaitforallmoving
partstostop.
2.Modelsequippedwiththe60vpowerhead,removetheharnessfrom
powerhead.
3.Modelsequippedwithelectricstartonly,removethe2(M4.2x2.0)
screwssecuringthebatterycover.Removethebatterycoverandfoampad.
Disconnectthebatterybyremovingthenegativecablerst,thenthepositive
cablefromthebattery.
4.Removethegrassbaggerassemblyifattached.
5.RemovetheAWDreartractioncable.AWDRearTractionCableRemoval
(page5–16)
6.Removethebrakecable.BrakeCableRemoval(page5–4)
7.Removethebladefromtheenginecrank.RefertotheproductOperator’s
Manualforthebladeremovalprocedures.
8.Removethe2(1/4–10inch)LHscrewssecuringtherearbafetothedeck.
