Removing the Front Access
Cover
1. Raise the loader ar ms and install the cylinder
loc ks .
Note: In the case that y ou need to remo v e
the front access co v er without raising the
loader ar ms , be v er y careful not to damag e the
co v er or h y draulic hoses as y ou maneuv er the
co v er out from under the ar ms .
2. Stop the engine and remo v e the k ey .
3. R elease the tw o loc king tabs ( Figure 21 ).

4. Pull the co v er off of the traction unit
( Figure 21 ).
5. W hen finished, re place the front access co v er
and secure it with the tw o loc king tabs .
Opening the Rear Access
Cover
1. Stop the engine and remo v e the k ey .
2. R elease the tw o loc king tabs on top of the rear
access co v er ( Figure 22 ).

3. R emo v e the bolt located next to the right
loc king tab ( Figure 22 ).
4. Grasping the handle , pull the co v er up and
bac k to swing it open ( Figure 22 ).
5. W hen finished, close the rear access co v er b y
swinging it up and seating it in place .
6. Secure it with the tw o loc king tabs and bolt.
Lubrication
Greasing the Traction Unit
Grease all pi v ot joints ev er y 8 operating hours and
immediately after ev er y w ashing .
Grease T ype: General-pur pose g rease .
1. Lo w er the loader ar ms and stop the engine .
R emo v e the k ey .
2. Clean the g rease fittings with a rag .
3. Connect a g rease gun to eac h fitting ( Figure 23
and Figure 24 ).
