•Alwaysplacefuelcontainersontheground
awayfromyourvehiclebeforelling.
•Donotllfuelcontainersinsideavehicle
oronatruckortrailerbedbecauseinterior
carpetsorplastictruckbedlinersmay
insulatethecontainerandslowthelossof
anystaticcharge.
•Whenpractical,removeequipmentfromthe
truckortrailerandrefueltheequipment
withitswheelsontheground.
•Ifthisisnotpossible,thenrefuelsuch
equipmentonatruckortrailerfroma
portablecontainer,ratherthanfromafuel
dispensernozzle.
•Ifafueldispensernozzlemustbeused,keep
thenozzleincontactwiththerimofthefuel
tankorcontaineropeningatalltimesuntil
fuelingiscomplete.
