Every100hours—Checkandadjust
thetracktension.
Every250hours/Yearly(whichever
comesrst)—Checkandgreasethe
roadwheels.
CleaningtheTracks
1.Withabucketontheloaderarms,lowerthebucket
tothegroundsothatthefrontofthetractionunit
liftsoffofthegroundafewinches.
2.Stoptheengine,andremovethekey.
3.Usingawaterhoseorpressurewasher,removedirt
fromeachtracksystem.
Important:Ensurethatyouusehigh-pressure
watertowashonlythetrackarea.Donotusea
high-pressurewashertocleantherestofthetraction
unit.Donotusehighpressurewaterbetweenthe
drivesprocketandthetractionunitoryoumay
damagethemotorseals.High-pressurewashing
candamagetheelectricalsystemandhydraulic
valvesordepletegrease.
Important:Ensurethatyoufullycleantheroad
wheels,thetensionwheel,andthedrivesprocket
(Figure42).Theroadwheelsshouldrotatefreely
whenclean.

AdjustingtheTrackTension
Thereshouldbe2-3/4inches(7cm)betweenthetension
nutandthebackofthetensiontube(Figure43).Ifnot,
adjustthetracktensionusingthefollowingprocedure:

thekey.
2.Lift/supportthesideoftheunittobeworkedonso
thatthetrackisoffoftheground.
