3.Stoptheengine.
4.Removethelynchpinsecuringthecylinderlock.
5.Rotatethecylinderlockuptotheloaderarmand
secureitwiththelynchpin.
6.Lowertheloaderarms.
UsingAttachments
Important:Ifyouareusinganattachmentwitha
serialnumberof200999999orearlier,themanual
fortheattachmentmaycontaininformation
specictotheuseoftheattachmentwithother
tractionunitsmodels,suchassettingsfortheow
dividercontrolandspeedselectorleverandthe
useofacounterweightonthetractionunit.These
systemsarebuiltintotheTX,andyoushould
ignoreanyreferencestothem.
InstallinganAttachment
Important:UseonlyToro-approvedattachments.
Attachmentscanchangethestabilityandthe
operatingcharacteristicsofthetractionunit.The
warrantyofthetractionunitmaybevoidedifused
withunapprovedattachments.
Important:Beforeinstallingtheattachment,
ensurethatthemountplatesarefreeofanydirtor
debrisandthatthepinsrotatefreely.Ifthepinsdo
notrotatefreely,greasethem.
1.Positiontheattachmentonalevelsurfacewith
enoughspacebehindittoaccommodatethe
tractionunit.
2.Starttheengine.
3.Tilttheattachmentmountplateforward.
4.Positionmountplateintotheupperlipofthe
attachmentreceiverplate(Figure24).

5.Raisetheloaderarmswhiletiltingbackthemount
plateatthesametime.
Important:Theattachmentshouldberaised
enoughtocleartheground,andthemount
plateshouldbetiltedallthewayback.
6.Stoptheengine.
7.Engagethequickattachpins,ensuringthattheyare
fullyseatedinthemountplate(Figure25).
Important:Ifthepinsdonotrotatetothe
engagedposition,themountplateisnot
fullyalignedwiththeholesintheattachment
receiverplate.Checkthereceiverplateand
cleanitifnecessary.
