UnderstandingtheSafety-Interlock
System
Thesafety-interlocksystemisdesignedtopreventtheengine
fromstartingunless:
•Theblade-control(PTO)leverisdisengaged.
•ThemachineisshiftedintotheNeutralposition.
•TheignitionkeyisintheRunposition.
Thesafety-interlocksystemisdesignedtostoptheengine
when:
•Theoperator-presence-control(OPC)leversarereleased
whenthetransmissionorthebladesareengaged.
•TheignitionkeyisturnedtotheOffposition.
•Themachineisshiftedintogearwithoutholdingthe
OPClevers.
•Theblade-control(PTO)leverisengagedwithout
holdingtheOPClevers.
