Todisengagetheblades,pulltheblade-controlleverrearward

leversarereleasedwiththeblade-controlleverengaged.

Ifsafety-interlockswitchesaredisconnectedor
damagedthemachinecouldoperateunexpectedly,
causingpersonalinjury.
Donottamperwiththeinterlockswitches.
Checktheoperationoftheinterlockswitches
daily,andreplaceanydamagedswitchesbefore
operatingthemachine.
UnderstandingtheSafety-Interlock
System
Thesafety-interlocksystemisdesignedtopreventtheengine
fromstartingunless:
Theblade-control(PTO)leverisdisengaged.
ThemachineisshiftedintotheNeutralposition.
TheignitionkeyisintheRunposition.
Thesafety-interlocksystemisdesignedtostoptheengine
when:
Theoperator-presence-control(OPC)leversarereleased
whenthetransmissionorthebladesareengaged.
TheignitionkeyisturnedtotheOffposition.
Themachineisshiftedintogearwithoutholdingthe
OPClevers.
Theblade-control(PTO)leverisengagedwithout
holdingtheOPClevers.
