1.Lowertheplatformcarefully.Thegasspringwill
provideassistance.
2.Movethelockinglatchhandletowardsthefrontof
themowerastheplatformnearsthefullylowered
position.Thiswillensurethatthelatchhooksclear
thelockingbar.
3.Fullylowertheplatformandmovethelocking
handletowardstherearofthemoweruntilthelatch
hooksfullyengagethelockingbar.

EngineStartLockout:Theenginecanonlybe
startedwhentheforward/reversetravelpedalisinthe
NEUTRALposition,thecuttingunitdriveswitchis
intheOFFpositionandtheparkingbrakeisengaged.
Whenthesecircumstancesaresatised,switchesare
activatedpermittingtheenginetobestarted.
EngineRunInterlock:Oncetheengineisstarted
theoperatormustbeseatedbeforetheparkingbrakeis
releasedfortheenginetocontinuetorun.
CuttingUnitDriveLockout:Thedrivetothecutting
unitsisonlypossiblewhentheoperatorisseated.If
theoperatorraisesofftheseatforaperiodofmore
thanonesecond,aswitchisactivatedandthedriveto
thecuttingunitisautomaticallydisengaged.Toengage
drivetothecuttingunit,theoperatormustreturnto
theseat,thenoperatethecuttingunitdriveswitchto
theOFFpositionbeforemovingitbacktotheON
