Procedure
Note:PTOdriveshaftinstallationiseasierifthemachineis
positionedonahoist.
1.Parkmachineonalevelsurface,stopengine,engage
parkingbrakeandremovekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
WARNING
Donotstarttheengineandengagethe
PTOswitchwhenthePTOdriveshaftis
disconnectedfromthecuttingdeck.Ifthe
engineisstartedandthePTOshaftisallowed
torotate,seriouspersonalinjuryandmachine
damagecouldresult.BeforethePTOdrive
shaftisdisconnectedfromthecuttingdeck,
disconnectPTOsolenoidcoilconnector
fromwireharnesstopreventunintentional
engagementofthePTOclutch.
2.TopreventtheunintentionalengagementofthePTO
clutch,disconnectthewireharnesselectricalconnector
fromthePTOsolenoidvalvecoilconnector(Figure3).
