Inspectthemasfollows:
Inspectthebrakeshoesforwearordamage.Ifthe
lining(brakepad)thicknessislessthan1/16inch
(1.6mm),replacethebrakeshoes.
Inspectthebackingplateandothercomponents
forsignsofexcessivewearordeformation.If
anydeformationisfound,replacetheappropriate
components.
AdjustingtheParkingBrake
ServiceInterval:Every200hours—Checktheparking
brake.
1.Loosenthesetscrewsecuringtheknobtothe
parkingbrakelever(Figure65).
